1.What is the timing of library?

2. Who can access the library Services?
Students, Faculty, Visiting Faculty, Adjunct Faculty and Staff of Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management can access the SIOM library services. Also other institute’s users of Symbiosis can refer the books of SIOM Library in the Library Premises only. Identity card is mandatory to enter SIOM Library.
3. Can I bring the personal book in the library?
You can carry own books to the library by making necessary entries in daily log register.
4. How many books are issued to a student?
Every student get 3 books against the library cards issued to them.
5.How do I search books (in Catalogue (OPAC)?
Go to library OPAC link home page. There is a search box with caption “Search Catalogue (OPAC)”. Enter a word or words from title or subject or author of a book you like to search. Press enter. It will list all books matching the words you input.
6.Can I reserve (claim) a book that is already borrowed by another member?
Yes. All members of the Library can reserve the books.
7.How do I use periodicals and bound volumes?
Students can borrow one periodical back issue or bound volumes for home lending. Current periodical issue are issued only for overnight study, one hour before the closing of the Library. This periodical have to be returned the next day on or before 1400 hrs.
